Shakthi, misunderstanding, believes she is telling him the night didn't mean anything to her. She tries to reassure him she is not like other women. Not wanting to hurt her feelings, he behaves awkwardly around her, while Shruti realizes she has fallen in love with him. When Shruti starts calling him "dear" in the morning, he is uncomfortable with it. Afterwards, Shakthi lies awake all night, worried about what has happened.
